A fortnight in…

It's now a fortnight since the start of term, so we asked two of this year's new girls, Rita and Juno (both 3H), to tell us about their first impressions of Queen's College. This is what they said:

We were exploring this morning and found out that Queen's College really is like a tardis; bigger on the inside than it looks from outside. We have enjoyed our first couple of weeks very much and the days seem to go by really quickly. We have found the homework a big change (and a challenge at times) even though we came from quite different schools: Juno went to The Lyceum, and Rita to Brookfield. It's fun using the swipe cards to check in and out, and Rita even used hers at Topshop for a 10% discount! We are both looking forward to helping out at the Open Days on Wednesday and Thursday next week and seeing lots of our friends. The food is good at break and lunch, and they even serve sushi (our favourite). We've made so many new friends already and the clubs are really fun. We are looking forward to going to the Science Club and making all those exciting things like lipstick and ice-cream. Our first impressions of Queen's have been great! We still find ourselves getting lost or having to ask for help, but there are lots of people we can turn to.
