Basketball winners!

The Queen's College U13 basketball team had a great start to the term with a 24-20 win against Portland Place School on Thurs 14 January.

Mrs Goode of the Queen's PE department writes:

It was a closely fought match, but the team looked strong with Talitha (2S), Dorsa (3H) and Daisy (2S) displaying excellent teamwork in bringing the ball down the court and scoring. They were helped by the reliable defensive skills of Oona (2S), Ali (3NP), Rita (3H), Gabriella (3NP) and Kyra (3NP) ensuring a Queen's victory. As a newly formed team it was impressive that it took the girls just a short time before they started to gel and work together. Our girls' obvious determination was rewarded with this excellent victory. A special thank you to all the parents who watched the match - the girls really appreciated your support.
