Dutch visitors to Queen's
Mr Lello is pictured here showing around two Dutch students from Het Streek, who were gathering information for their research project on the British education system. They saw a number of classes and talked to Queen's pupils about the similarities and differences between schools in Britain and the Netherlands. They were particularly interested in the vision of Professor FD Maurice, who founded Queen's College in 1848 as the first institution to provide academic qualifications for young women.
