Fund-raising for Haiti
This week saw the launch of a College drive to raise much needed funds for Haiti, and today staff and girls were asked to wear something red or blue, the colours of the Haitian flag. Early this morning a number of prefects, Seniors and II Juniors were on the door collecting money for Haiti in return for stickers of the Haitian flag. The generosity of the girls was overwhelming and Queen's has raised a fantastic £983.16 from today's efforts. This money will be paid into the Haiti appeal fund via the Disasters Emergency Committee. Thanks go to all girls, staff and parents who contributed so generously. We look forward to future fund-raising initiatives for Haiti, including the II Junior jewellery sale which will take place on Friday.
