More victories at netball!

On a very cold evening (Tues 1 Dec) the U12 and U13 netball teams went to Battersea Park to play a match against the Grey Coat Hospital. The U13 team made a fantastic start and were 6 goals ahead by half-time. The Grey Coat team began to claw their way back into the game after a few positional changes but the Queen's girls kept their heads and never gave up.  Excellent shooting from Francesca (2W) and Daisy (2S), superb support play from Rita and Oona (both 2S) and excellent defending from Talitha (2S) ensured Queen's won the game 11-5. The U12 team also had a great game. After a close first half with the two teams trading goal for goal, Queen's came out fighting in the third quarter and went 6 goals ahead, keeping the lead into the final few minutes.  Accurate shooting and positional play from Chloe (3NP), many interceptions from Saskia and Genevieve (both 3LP) and solid defending all round gave the team a convincing 9-3 win. Well done to all the girls who participated.
