Necklace of Raindrops - the musical
Early November saw four performances in the Pfeiffer Hall at Queen's of a new musical 'A Necklace of Raindrops'. This stylish and magical show has been written by James Rose, head of Music at Queen's, and a cast of well over thirty girls were challenged to sing and act with real sophistication. Direction was by Mrs Hope, head of Drama. There were many formidable performances, and some lovely 're-connections' too. Members of the cast of the earlier 'Necklace' composed by Mr Rose in 2000 attended the new show, and one was lucky enough to watch her younger sister Hannah (1G) take the key role of Laura Jones in the new production. Many congratulations to all involved.
