Queen's College Theatre Studies students get top billing
Using as a stimulus Tracy Letts' play 'August: Osage County' Queen's A-level Theatre Studies students wrote, directed and performed two unique pieces of theatre. 'Deep in the suburbs' explored the fictitious London lives of the Williams family. Outwardly the family presented a picture of perfection, but behind the white picket fences lay deceit, denial and long-buried secrets. The second piece entitled 'The Journey Home' told the story of three sisters damaged by their past, who reunite at the death of their mother. Can they resolve their differences? Both productions were excellent and, as one parent remarked, 'equal to anything you might see in the West End'.
