Queen's girls at the summit!
Queen's College Mountaineering Society is seen here with Mr Lello and Mrs Hammond near the summit of Kinder Scout in the Peak District during a rare break in the inclement weather on their recent trip. Despite some difficult conditions the true summit was located, which involves some challenging navigation and tough walking across the peat moor. The society will be going back to the area in June to rock climb on the Eastern gritstone edges and have been training every Thursday at the Seymour Leisure Centre climbing wall, which is near Harley Street.
