*As a result of the pandemic, A-level grades in 2020 and 2021 were awarded by schools in line with the government’s guidance at the time - rather than by public examinations - which resulted in higher grades across the country.
Many Year 12 pupils who take three A-levels at Queen’s also study for the Extended Project Qualification, which is equivalent to an additional half an A-level. This qualification allows students to undertake independent research in an area of particular interest to them.
