The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is the body approved by the Department for Education for the purpose of inspecting schools belonging to the Independent Schools Council (ISC) Associations and reporting on compliance with independent school regulations. ISI inspections are also carried out under arrangements of the ISC Associations for the maintenance and improvement of the quality of their membership.

Highlights From our Recent ISI Report

Our most recent Focused Compliance and Educational Quality Inspection Report was carried out by ISI in February 2025. Here are some of the highlights from the Report:

“Leaders have created a positive environment where pupils enjoy their learning. Pupils flourish academically and personally because of the many opportunities made available to them. "

"The school successfully develops pupils' understanding of mutual trust and respect, within the school community and wider world. The emphasis on being kind permeates all aspects of school life."

"Pupils are highly supportive of each other. They are kind and recognise the value of service to others."

"Pupils are encouraged to be resilient learners, able to learn from their mistakes."

"Leaders have established a school community characterised by mutual respect and inclusivity. This positively impacts pupils' social development and fully embraces the school's values."

"Teachers' enthusiasm in subjects such as English, mathematics, physics and religious studies (RS) inspires pupils to learn, think for themselves and to achieve well."
