*As a result of the pandemic, A-level grades in 2020 and 2021 were awarded by schools in line with the government’s guidance at the time - rather than by public examinations - which resulted in higher grades across the country.
Many Year 12 pupils who take three A-levels at Queen’s also study for the Extended Project Qualification, which is equivalent to an additional half an A-level. This qualification allows students to undertake independent research in an area of particular interest to them.

GCSE RESULTS
In 2022, we were delighted with our pupils' performance in their GCSEs, with 38% of all grades awarded the top 9 grade. This was particularly impressive given the percentage of 9s is even higher than in the last two years when public examinations weren’t held. Many congratulations to everyone on overcoming the disruption caused by the pandemic over the past two years and achieving this really fantastic set of results!
