11+ Transition

Queen's College Preparatory School is the younger sister of Queen's College, London. Many of our pupils go on to continue their education at the College, but we are proud that many also go on to study at other leading independent schools in and around London.

Each year, our girls receive offers from a wide range of highly regarded schools, reflecting both their individual strengths and the personalised support they receive throughout the 11+ process. We work closely with every family to help them find the school that is the right fit for their daughter, providing guidance on applications, assessments, interviews and school choices.

A smooth transition to Queen's College, London

Queen's College Preparatory School offers every girl a secure pathway to the College at 11+. For many families, this provides the reassurance of continuity while giving girls the confidence to embrace the next stage of their education.

Throughout their time at the Prep, pupils become familiar with the College community through a range of shared experiences. From performing in their Year 6 production on the Queen's stage and taking part in dance showcases, to workshops led by College teachers and peer mentoring with older students, girls build friendships, confidence and a genuine sense of belonging long before they join Year 7.

By the time they move up to Queen's College, London, our girls already feel part of the community, making the transition an exciting and natural next step.
