Liz Reading
Director of External Relations
Liz Reading joined Queen’s College, London in March 2026 as Director of External Relations, bringing more than 13 years of experience across the independent school sector in marketing, admissions and development.
Liz began her career on the graduate scheme at Accenture, where she worked on international SAP implementation projects and developed her project management skills. She subsequently moved to Asia, living in Jakarta and Singapore, where she combined raising her young family with a successful career in marketing. During this time, she worked as a Marketing Consultant for DestinAsian and Prestige luxury lifestyle magazines, leading their digital marketing strategies and customer engagement planning.
Returning to the UK, Liz developed her career within independent education in both Prep and Senior Schools - boarding and day, where she has built a strong track record of enhancing school profile, strengthening community engagement, and supporting sustainable growth through strategic external relations.
Liz holds a degree in English from the University of Birmingham. She is passionate about the transformative impact of independent education and the individual attention it enables for every pupil. She is currently a Governor at Somerhill Prep School in Tonbridge, Kent, and lives near Sevenoaks with her family.
